My frosh week was in 1991 (and, I guess, again in 1997). Mike’s were in 1995 and 2014. But it feels like throwback tunes have figured prominently in all those years. The same throwback tunes, even. ABBA Gold came just minutes before I started University, and during my arrival at Queen’s you could still see the 80’s in the rear view mirror. Those same songs that we heard on Leonard Field (and on University Avenue, and in the JDUC, and at Alfie’s) are still around as Frosh Week Anthems.  Because I’m a benevolent Playlist Regent, I’m putting the first one first on purpose. If your brain can’t avoid the ear-worm after 6 more songs, that’s on you, man.
